ABOUT
Tayla Martin is a regional photo-media artist currently living and working in Wagga Wagga NSW. Martin grew up in the rural community of Nyngan, which has influenced much of her photographic practice and passion for the important role art plays in sustaining regional communities. Martin graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts and Design (Photography & Graphic Design) and recently with a Master of Secondary Teaching in Visual Arts from Charles Sturt University.
“I work as a documentary photographer capturing real stories of people and communities. My latest bodies of work have been developed in regional and remote communities where I have documented the shifting landscapes and the experiences of the people living in and around the area.”
